Who I Am

From starting out singing in the church to making beats with his neighborhood friend Dorion Jones, Nick Pee-Z used his talents to start producing and writing his own music. He took an interest in the artist lane as he got older and made hits like “That’s Bae”, “Winning” and “I kno” to name a few. His style of producing is top tier and he has a few of his favorites to thank like Pharrell, Lil Jon, Drumma Boy, Kanye West, and Timbaland. Nick Pee-Z can take a sample from any genre of music and mash it up with another genre and we now have a new genre called “Mash Ups”. This was seen a lot in the early 90s where the dj would mix two different songs together to make one but then add vocals from a third completely different song and they all sound familiar and go together at the same time. Nick Pee-Z song writing abilities give me this soul but melodic trap upbeat feel. His concepts are always relatable and honest to his lifestyle past and current. Some of his influences and inspirations come from D’Angelo, T-Pain, DRAM, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Gunna, Erykah Badu, Tweet, and Kanye West. Nick Pee-Z is hip hop, rnb, soul, pop, and reggae all at the same time!
